Responsibilities for the Mechanical Designer
Design and create models using advanced surface modeling features, such as, boundary surfaces, datum and projected curves, variable section sweeps and fillets, and splines
Create assemblies, intricate engineering detail subassembly, and layout drawings
Assist engineers with complex design and manufacturing constraints
Compute model analysis (volumes, areas, material quantities) for products using accepted software, formulas and manuals. Rely on expertise of project engineer when required
